Long Description: From a pier on a canal, or "khlong", in Bangkok, a colorful, blue-canopied water taxi sets out to speed a passenger to a destination across the choppy, muddy water. Other taxis bob at their moorings nearby, while buildings, both old and contemporary, are seen in the background. Several people at the right seem to be negotiating a fare while one young man looks out over the canal.
